PROJECT STORY
A custom Fireplace TV Wall shaped around the room.
The starting point was furniture-based: the television sat on a freestanding console against a broad blank wall. The new composition replaces that loose setup with a full-height stone center, symmetrical illuminated shelving, built-in storage, and a linear electric fireplace.
Project goal. Replace the freestanding TV-console setup with a permanent built-in composition that combines the television, electric fireplace, illuminated display shelving, and concealed storage.
A projecting floor-to-ceiling center establishes the main architectural mass and is clad continuously in natural stone around the mounted television and linear electric fireplace. On both sides, three substantial wood floating shelves create a mirrored six-shelf rhythm, with linear lighting integrated beneath every shelf. Two custom two-door base cabinets anchor the side zones, and a continuous wood countertop runs across the lower composition. The cabinets were finished with ILVA Italian paint, while the shelves and countertop share the client-selected wood color for a coordinated contrast against the light stone.

White cabinetry finished with ILVA Italian paint keeps the lower storage visually light, and warm linear shelf lighting emphasizes the display zones.

MATERIAL & LIGHTING DETAIL
Stone texture, custom woodwork, and linear shelf lighting meet at the side built-in.
Three substantial floating shelves sit above a two-door cabinet and continuous wood countertop, while natural stone continues through the central fireplace volume beside them.
Warm light is integrated beneath every shelf, drawing attention downward across the display zones. The cabinetry is finished with ILVA Italian paint, and the shelves and countertop share the client-selected wood color for a consistent material transition.
BEFORE
The television originally depended on a freestanding console against an otherwise open wall.
There was no fireplace structure, stone cladding, built-in storage, floating display shelving, or integrated lighting organizing the living-room elevation.
The new work replaces that furniture-based setup with a permanent stone-clad fireplace TV wall, six illuminated shelves, a linear electric fireplace, custom cabinets, and a continuous wood countertop.
THE RESULT
A finished feature designed to belong to the room.
The wall now functions as one balanced built-in system: natural stone carries the vertical focal point, six warm-lit shelves create symmetrical display zones, and the coordinated countertop and painted cabinets add storage without breaking the composition.
